Any dancer (or potential ones) – from early beginners to pros – should, at some point, gather information about the music that is being danced to.
Particularly for Afro-, Afro-Cuban-, Salsa- etc. dances, we highly recommend taking a couple of trial lessons in percussion, which ultimately is the solid basis of much of music.
Not only will you profit from an improved sense of rhythm but also from more power of concentration, better anticipation and coordination skills and, last but certainly not least: You’ll benefit from having a lot of fun.
